The Whole Earth Catalog Reloaded

Connections over time This research examines the Whole Earth Catalog as a collection of tools, books and building knowledge. It focuses on connections between systems thinking, counterculture and self-organised construction.
In studying Jan’s Double Rhombic Dodecahedron, I followed the path from geometric form to joints, tools and self-building. This included both the influences on the design and the instructions and details needed to build it.
